Common questions

      

        How is MRR different from revenue?
        
MRR is only recurring subscription revenue. Excludes one-time fees, setup charges, and pass-through payments. Investors ask specifically for MRR because it's the predictable part.

      

      

        What MRR do I need to quit my job?
        
Rule of thumb: 1.5x your current salary. Because as a founder you'll pay taxes, health insurance, and business expenses out of it.

      

      

        Include or exclude discounts?
