About BusinessOS

BusinessOS is a free, encrypted, offline-first business platform built for freelancers, agencies, and small businesses. We're on a mission to make professional business management genuinely private, genuinely fast, and genuinely accessible — not another subscription trap dressed up as free software.

Our mission

Every mainstream business tool today faces the same pressure: extract more from users. Higher subscription tiers, more data harvesting, more AI training on customer records, more feature paywalls. BusinessOS was built to prove a different model works — one where your data stays on your device, your business remains yours, and the software just does what you need it to do.

How we're different

Our approach to your data

BusinessOS uses AES-GCM encryption with a key derived from your password via PBKDF2. This means everything you enter — customers, invoices, bank details, revenue figures — gets encrypted on your device before anything leaves it. Our optional cloud sync stores encrypted blobs only. If our servers are ever breached, hacked, or subpoenaed, an attacker walks away with encrypted noise. This isn't marketing — it's how the software is built.

The team

BusinessOS is founded and operated by Muhammad Bin Ahsan Khan, based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Everything — from the product design and code to the customer conversations — is currently handled personally. If you email us or leave feedback, you're reaching a real founder, not a support ticket queue.

Where we are today

BusinessOS launched in September 2026 and is currently in limited early access. Everything is functional and production-ready — invoicing, expenses, customers, inventory, cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, voice invoicing, WhatsApp send, Arabic + English, and full UAE/Saudi compliance.
